This pocket knife is an original Taschenfeitel and comes with a centuries-old manufacturing tradition. It has been manufactured manually in Trattenbach in Upper Austria for almost 600 years. The Trattenbacher Taschenfeitel is registered as an intangible cultural heritage. The turned handle is made of beech wood which is a typical used hardwood in Europe. The interestingly shaped blade is ground on both sides.

Care instructions

When the beeswax wraps start loosing its flexibility or are getting brittle, you can refresh it. The simplest trick to refresh your beeswax wraps is to pop them into the oven on a baking sheet on low heat to remelt and distribute the wax. This will deal with any creasing and cracking.

Cleaning: Wipe it after use with water and mild dish soap and air dry. Important: Do not rinse with hot water! Not suitable for direct contact with raw meat.

Our handmade picnic blanket consists of high-quality cotton. It is made of two layers and is free of synthetic materials. The bottom layer is made of Scottish waxed cotton canvas, which is water-repellent and insulating. As a result, the moisture of the soil or the meadow cannot get through the picnic blanket.

The top layer consists of a soft organic cotton fleece and therefore offers additional comfort. No synthetic components are added to the material, which means that there is no static charge.
